Brand Identity for Chocolát Palette

 

STEP 1: BRAND PROFILE & STYLE GUIDE

We first spoke with Saundra to understand her strengths and vision for the one-woman company. After researching competitors, we discovered that her passion for homemade freshness and handpicked quality ingredients stood out in a very commercialized space. Her background as a mixologist with experience in the Caribbean also made her personal story engaging. We positioned Chocolát Palette by emphasizing Saundra’s personal touch. The Style Guide reflects both the warmth and sophistication of Chocolát Palette’s updated brand identity.

STEP 2: WEBSITE & BUSINESS CARDS

Once we founded Chocolát Palette’s brand in warmth and sophistication, we put the Style Guide to use by crafting a website and business card design according to its guidelines. To capture the mouth-watering freshness of the products for an online audience, we did a styled photo shoot in Saundra’s commercial kitchen space. The new website quickly delivers important information while submerging visitors into the rich world of Chocolát Palette.

Step 3: Packaging (labels)

Saundra sells her brownies in person at fairs and markets, and needed labels to draw customers to her delicious brownies. We decided to create a floral theme for her core collection of brownies, because like flowers, her brownies also has an irresistible aroma.
