STEP 1: MEETING YEMISI

When EgunsiFoods founder Yemisi connected with Sunbird, her business was doing great. She had perfected her recipes and built a strong following of people waiting to order her West African soups. She had even landed an account with the new Whole Foods in Harlem!

Yemisi was almost ready to debut her soups to the world. But as she prepared for a successful launch, something felt off. Her website, which was already clean and user-friendly, lacked that special sauce that could set her brand apart from the rest. Yemisi decided to invest in the help of branding experts to take her website to the next level.

STEP 2: FILLING OUT THE BRAND PROFILE

Because Yemisi had been working diligently on her business and marketing plans to prepare for the EgunsiFoods launch, she had all the elements of a Brand Profile prepared already. She knew who her brand was and who it was serving. Yemisi gave us her Brand Profile to help develop a distinctive style that fit well with her company's values and personality.

STEP 3: BEAUTIFYING THE WEBSITE

EgunsiFoods' site did not express the graceful, empathetic personality and African heritage that the brand represented. Starting with its current style and Brand Profile, we created an original pattern and texture that gave EgunsiFoods images a distinctive look and feel.

The geometric, African-inspired pattern and delicate paper texture throughout Yemisi's site--from banners to product images--turns a standard site into a delightful brand experience.
